Video: Tobin Matthews - "Susan"

This recording of "Susan", was my first Columbia Records release. It was recorded in New York at Columbia Studios in 1962. The "Susan" session was produced by Al Kasha, arranged and conducted by Alan Lorber. The song was written by J. Gluck & B. Raleigh. This song will always hold a special place in my memory.

Video: Tobin Matthews - Live Rehearsal "Mojo Workin"

This is an amateur video recording of us rehearsing, for a Willowbrook Ballroom Show, at "Music Lab" in Lansing, Illinois. The song is "Mojo Workout", originally recorded by Larry Bright. The guys in the band are - Ron Lane and Terry King, lead and rhythm guitars - Norby King, drums - Jimmy McHugh, keyboard - Dave Spanier, bass guitar. We always had just as much fun rehearsing as we did playing the actual gig.

Video: "Crawfish"

This video was recorded with a one mike video camera, so the sound quality is only fair. It was taped the night of our "30" year band reunion. It had been a long time since we had been together and we had a ball. The main reason I'm posting this song is because when my daughter Carrie was a young girl, it was her favorite song. Out of all the songs I sang, she loved "Crawfish". Carrie, this one's for you.

Pictured left to right are - Frankie (Gajewski) Gage, Whiting, Indiana - Norby King, Calumet City, Illinois and Tobin Matthews.

This picture was taken while I was singing at Willowbrook Ballroom during a special Jim Lounsbury hop. The pretty girls at the front of the stage are, from left to right, Tammy, Tracey and my two daughters Carrie and Holly.
